Luego de la intervención de la Defensoría del Pueblo, regional Córdoba, se acordó con Aqualia restablecer el servicio de agua al municipio San Antero este domingo 23 de enero.
De acuerdo con el defensor del pueblo regional, Ricardo Madera, este municipio ha venido padecido la escasez del líquido desde el pasado mes de diciembre.
“El pasado 12 de enero tuvimos una mesa técnica con Aqualia y delegados de la administración municipal. Se crearon compromisos para restablecer el servicio a partir del 23 de enero, pero en una visita que hicimos recientemente, encontramos que no se viene adelantando en los términos que se estableció”, aseguró el defensor regional.
La Defensoría exhortó a la compañía a ceñirse a los acuerdos y garantizar de forma permanente la prestación del servicio.
“Queremos conminar de manera contundente a la administración municipal, al operador Aqualia, para que haga lo propio y se restablezca de manera definitiva el servicio de agua potable en los términos de calidad y eficiencia que los sananteranos merecen”, precisó.
